Celloglazing

Celloglazing offers a professional, high-end look and feel to your printed job. The process involves fixing a thin sheet of plastic film to one or both sides of a printed sheet of heavy stock with heat-activated glue and pressure. It is also known as Cello-Sheening and Cello-Finishing.

Benefits

Celloglazing adds strength and rigidity to a printed piece with the added benefit of making colours appear more vibrant. Celloglazing is an excellent finish for business cards, presentation folders, books and booklet covers.

Celloglazing is highly recommended to help prevent cracking on the spines of dark colours for books being Perfect Bound and for documents constantly being handled or requiring protection, for example, school year books, financial annual reports, menus, price lists, maps, reusable tags, educational materials, bookmarks, membership cards and signs of all types such as safety signs and operating instructions.

Specifications

There is no minimum quantity required, and celloglaze is available in 40-micron thickness for gloss and matt and 36-micron thickness for Velvet Soft Touch.

Twin Loop can celloglaze sheet sizes SR-A3 (minimum) to 320mm x 600mm (maximum).

Celloglaze is available in Gloss, Matt, and Velvet Touch finish.
